Yes, some good stuff came out of 'Slade in Flame' but by then I think they had embedded an image of loud, shouty songs (for the charts), and the 'fans' didn't like them.It's a bit ironic that the film reflects the group in some respects. 'How Does It Feel?' is a great song.

Yeah Slade Alive was a killer album, the band lost a lot when Noddy left, how could anyone replace him? Yeah i agree with the commercial thing did some good songs late on "in for a penny" "far far away" "how does it feel"

My first top band as a kid. It's a shame they faded away. There was some great guitar going on in their early stuff. It all got a bit too commercial...and punk came along.
