There are both black and white people among the cops and the criminals. Matias, one of the protagonists, is a black cop (scene at 3:50), while the drug lord (appears later in the movie) is white. The corrupt cop (8:15) is also white.Unfortunately there are indeed more blacks in favelas than in the police. The scenes at the university (later in the movie) show no blacks except Matias.I think the depiction of these groups' racial composition is realistic. Unfortunate but true...
