I used to do martial arts. I've kept some of the stretches in my routine. I learned the HARD way over the years to stretch AFTER I lift. It's actually a BAD idea to stretch out and then lift weights. Better to do some cardio to get the heartrate up followed up by light warm ups for whatever movement ya do. I always stretch now after the weight sessions. Much better results I find. It helps get rid of lactic acid. Plus I'm much more warmed up. Stretching out cold muscles is risky indeed.

that second part is important! I only stretch on non-lifting days - why weaken your muscles before placing a major strain on them? Be active EVERY day, just balance what exactly you're doing wisely! :)

P90X stretch X is the ONLY flexibility workout! Oh and you shouldnt do static stretching before a workout, it decreases power output

No offense, but I'll stay with "8 minute stretch". It shows you a more elaborate stretching routine, although this vid is good as well.
