I'm not afraid to listen to classic-jazzy-blues like funky-soul that rocks! Much of E. McDaniels's music has been heavily sampled by the infamous dj/hip-hop producer Pete Rock. If you ask the average rap artist(and fans) about the pioneer artists of yesterday(as E.McDaniels) they would stare at the stars to wonder. I educate the youngin's today in reminding them where all the music originated. Back in the days the dj's would cover the records they were playing so no one would know the artists.
