Are you British or American? I'm British, and apparently there's a world of differance between the two nation's MTV2's. Granted, they have shows like 120 Minutes and Headbangers Ball, but I work full-time, so I don't really have time to sit up 'til 4am just to see some good music. It never used to be like this, even the producers of daytime shows had an ounce of taste and a will to play music other than emo and indie-pop.

well...they played a pelican video on headbanger's ball...which was a 5 minute plus instrumental. not all of mtv2's videos of choice suck.in any event....isn't that guy the dude that is the face of captain howdy who is the inspiration of the cover of mogwai's album cover for "come on die young"?

Cool greg, I didn't know whether or not Mogwai did this song during one of their John Peel Session I'll try looking for that bootleg. If I can't find it, could you please upload the that version of Xmas Steps from Mogwai's John Peel Session sometime, I'd love to hear it.

They have a recording of Christmas Steps for a Peel Session that was never released, it's about seven minutes long and is louder and obviously shorter. you can find a bootleg if you look about online.I'll maybe upload it if I get a chance.
