I don't want to be rude, but something tells me she's not a scientist. The word "symtom" in the end caught my eye. I really don't think scientists would misspell. But who am I to know the truth, anyway? That doesn't mean I deny that she had problems and suffered and finally took some steps to regain her health. As for her condition, it is a special one that caused problems, so not a reason to tell others not to do implants, but rather to test for this genetic predisposition, just in case.

While although I applaud that you found the trigger for your illness, you are not cured by removing your implants. As a "scientist" you should know, that removing the trigger doesn't cure you. You still have those diseases. And I agree with most posts here, telling women NOT to get implants is very ignorant on your part. Just because you had the problems doesn't mean everyone will. Funny more than informative.

Your health is already compromised with the breast cancer, I have supported silicone/saline breast implant injection survivors for eleven years, and I strongly recommend you not compromise your health further. Please do the research, so many women suffer the same symptoms as this woman, tragically! Without your health...

I am a new breast cancer patient and plan to have reconstruction surgery on July 21, now I am really confused. The surgeon's and all the women I have met this month at my support group have recommened breast implants.I take supplements and eat organic and never wanted plastic surgery but I am only 41 and feel if I don't do it at the same time of the mastectomy I will regret it. |
