thats the problem we got too many people going along with this shit...its a shot to out rights and privacy..as long as i live under a crooked government ill never trust anything they do to "protect us" and "fight the terrorists"..9/11 was an inside job and now thanks to that we have to deal with this kind of shit...people trading liberty for security makes me sick...Martial Law is coming along with the iran war..The depression has already started..we need to put a stop to it

Irony: You're ragging on "liberals" when this story is on Fox, the most conservative news channel ever.The FBI is an American agency, and this doesn't affect New Zealanders to the same degree as Americans.Thirdly, "liberal" has varying connotations depending on political context. Liberal in one country may be conservative in another, or may not even have an equivalent.I am not a "liberal," but I respect their right to voice arguments. Dialogue is the path away from ignorance.

Stupid fucking Fox news, they don't know shit about technology. The only way they can activate the microphone, is if the phone has an "always on" microphone API in the firmware. Furthermore, the phone would have to have power to the airwave receiver. Turn off your phone for a month and see if it has full batteries when you reactivate it. If you do, your phone doesn't have the remote activation feature, because it would drain the battery. If it does, you can modify the board to remove it. |
