Fareed is promoting the "Global Agenda." This means he supports the world banks, supports nation building and Imperialism, but, hey, its all for a good cause. If we didn't have to fight wars and sink countries and individuals into debt, and take away personal liberties (RFID), I would fully support Globalization and a "Global Agenda."

They certainly don't have any union representation at their construction sites.

The U.S has a shit load of oil that it hasn't even touched in Alaska. They are drilling off shores so that other countries will eventually run out and will have to buy oil from the U.S. If the U.S stops getting oil from other nations and uses its own, it can last over 60 years!
AtheistRagdoll (June 25, 2008 at 4:26 am)
That wasn't true.

Ok, I am not claiming to be an exp. on the subject, and my thoughts are as much intuitive as they are based in facts I know. But, Tell me how we could be "left out" as long as we continue to lead the world in INVENTION and INNOVATION!As long as American companies create the next NEW THING,would not these countries continue to buy our products just as they have for at least one century? Also, are we not the still the worlds largest supplier of FOOD? How could the rest of the world freeze us out?

Now China is drilling off the coast of Florida (50 miles) with Cuba's assistance. Why the hell isn't the U.S. drilling off the coast of Florida?? Also in the Pacific. There is plenty of oil, we need to stop placating enviromentalists and start drilling for our own resources. Along with developing better fuel cells for hybrid cars, this will go a long way to solving our dependence on foreign oil. Also, corn ethanol is not working out so well. Our cars are less fuel efficient on ethanol.

The rest of the world doesn't care that our labor costs are disparate, they will produce and trade with each other and we'll be left out of the picture. Unfortunately, that is the reality of the 21st century. There is also a much longer (hour) version of this interview where he goes into much more detail about the world view of America. |
