look, Im avril's age. I don't consider her look to be fitting and if I saw a girl my age dress like that I would just think that she is a little bit attention seeking. Thats not embracing womanhood. Do you really think you have to look slutty to do that? Alanis is wearing more make up these days and dresses and I think its a good thing. She is 34 dresses appropriatly and thats embracing your womanhood and your adulthood at the same time.

I'm very much aware of Alanis' music being that i'm a huge fan of hers.And how is Avril a skank? Just becuz she doesn't look like a boy anymore? It's called growing up and embracing your womanhood.Besides, look at Alanis. She used to look like an outdated hippie, but now she fixes herself up all pretty, and it work for her.

Avril is having an I.D. crisis and dresses like a skank now. Her tomboy look was ok. Alanis wasn't angry about relationships at all- save one or two. Really other than that one angry song how was she angry??? (She adresses world problems more often.)

Nope. Avril always dressed like that even before she became famous. And Alanis was just angry because her relationship didn't go as planned.

Avril wore what her production team told her to wear just like she does now. Avril did try to be like Alanis with her canadian angry girl image (sound similar?) but failed in a horrible fashion.
