what's an f-14 gonna do for ground forces...Distract the enemy? Same with the f-22. When u need scaplel call a f-22. When u need a sledgehammer, call the A-10. (Last time I checked a scaplel can hurt u, and mabye kill u. You'll be lucky to survive a sledgehammer.) An f-22 gets hit, and they run home. An A-10 get hit, they fly right back into the fight again.... and again....and again... till either the enemy is all dead or our guys are safe. THE END (Eat your heart out Bin Laden) ;p

then theres a thing called "dangeer close air support." danger close is when the a10s or whatever aircraft will bring the rain to any enemy as close as 50 yards from frienly forces. were talking... feel the heat from the fire type close. 30mm rounds will make humanburger of any enemy on the ground. the added weight of the DPU rounds make it an awesome armor penetrator too.

but they do have an awesome array of weapons specialised in close air support. The M197 with the camera is deadly and can be more effective than spraying limited amount of rounds in seconds. The Cobra, Apache etc are the most effective against infantry.

Are you kidding? Combat choppers can't operate in the high mountains of Afghanistan. Plus they cannot drop bombs and are cannot get onsite as fast as A-10.

close air support??? i wouldnt trust my life to a warthog if i was dealin with a tank, id call in a cobra or an apache. the sexiest airplane is the f-14 tomcat

The commentator is an idiot: 'It's not the sexiest airplane'? Yes it fucking is. It's the sexiest thing in the world when you need close air support.
