Well it is actually a playable preview of the great RTR VII Grand Campaign that is about to come... There is no other way than installing it at once, as it is based on a new engine and not on RTW, or on RTR Platinum...Q.

The Iberian Conflict is from the same developers as RTR. But there is a way you can install it directly(with no need to install RTR first) with an installer pack they released more recently on the official site. The only requirement for that is that you must have the Barbarian Invasion expansion installed.

You can install The Iberian Conflict without RTR. However, you must have the Barbarian Invasion expansion installed.

Is The Iberian Conflict compatible with RTR or just RTW, if it is a mini-campaign it should not conflict with RTR download or am I mistaken reply for answer?
