How can you say its not got the greatest dressage?! Yeah it might not have the best piaffe or passage ive ever seen, but it wouldnt be competing at gran prix level if it wasnt good enough, think the rider knows what the horse can handle and is capable of!

That is sooo un-true. Diferent horses respond and are taught diferent ways and listen to aids dfferent ways. i ride a 21 year old QH/TB mare and she is verrrry sensitive to my seat. shes more productive then my freind's 2 dutchwarmbloods that are 10 and 12! my other freind does eventing and i let her get on my horse and she said that my mare was the most sensitive horse she had ever ridin. you dont know what you are talking about so please dont talk at all.

I am just saying, all the older horses I ride, gradually get to where they can't feel the leg as well. Like a person gets a callous after using his hands the same way for so long, it's pretty much the same thing. That doesn't mean it's a bad horse, or he isn't ridden correctly or anything, it's just the way of nature. I really don't mean to argue, I am just saying..... |
