She was my great-aunt and he became my great uncle when they married :) I'm so proud to have them in my family tree!

Agree he was a fine artist and sang here (Chicago) years ago, my older friends heard him and he sounded the same in the house they say but I did not go to the opera till 1957, so I missed him sadly. Thanks for a great Post from a lover of fine singing in Chicago.

Simoneau is a wonderful Mozartean. Reminds me a bit of Anton Dermota.Thanks for posting this, VAI. I've never seen him before. I love him in Mitropolis' Don Giovanni. So smooth and classy, a creamy, elegant voice. |
