TES IV: Oblivion Umbra Defeat at Hardest Difficulty

Note that umbra sword has 28 damage, with Umbra's 100 blade and 100 strength. At hardest difficulty she does 28x6=168 damage. Block with a shield reduces damage by 43.5% (with my block level), and my 52 armor rating + 20 of the shield potion gives 72 total armor rating. I do have reflect damage effect, I think around 40%, which helps reducing the damage a lot. So a blocked hit only has 168x0.6x(1-0.43)*(1-0.72)= 16.08 dmg approx. Do not underestimate the usefulness of block. Not blocking makes you take way more damage than blocking. Notice I never used power attack here, because it's very hard to pull off one, and if I fail a power attack, I would be dead, because she will counter attack you.
