not exactly Danjuanfr. Lelouch may be of Britannian blood, but his ethics are not like Britannia's. However, in the end he saves Britannia and the people of Japan. He redeemed himself by dying so that the world could live in peace. He saved Japan from the once evil Britannia, and saved Britannia from their old selves. Lelouch was the good guy all along, and Britannia went from being bad to good all because of Lelouch.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I get my information from the Collectors' Booklets that come with the limited edition Code Geass DVD boxsets. They're full of trivia about the show's characters, technology, and history.
