SKOPIAN dialect had differences from proper Bulgarian and could be easily manipulated and codified into a new language. Many Bulgarian,Greek,Turkish,and Albanian elements were removed and were replaced with Serb elements.Many Bulgarian letters were changed to Serb letters.Communism(then)fueled,and state-sponsored nationalism(now)continues to fuel Macedonist irredentism from Yugoslavia then and FYROM now towards all its neighbours but especially towards Greece with its sea port of Thessaloniki

In 1944 Serbs introduced immediately the Serbian language and when Stalin asked Dimitrov to assign Pirin to Tito, Dimitrov said But they have no Macedonian consciousness,to which Stalin replied: In 1918 we created the nation of the White Russians, accepted by everyone today.Thus the slavs (bulgarians)of Yugoslavia became later Macedonians by the Communist Party.But not by the international community.

The most concerned Balkanologists have assured me that Macedonian resembles Serbian more then Bulgarian. But the fact is that Macedonian is not spoken either in Sofia or in Belgrade. It is a separate language just as is the Romanish language spoken in Switcerland in teh Grisons areas separate from Italian. In my opinion a Macedonian can not be called either a Bulgarian or a Serbian, but simply a Macedonian. Rudolf Reiss ( 1876-1929 ), professor at the University in Lausanne

Greece recognized macedonian minority in Aegean Macedonia in 1925 year, but your government today is last facist bastion in Europe.
