Just imagine it : A Phil Marlow-esque Garrett in a film noir-like version of the City in the far future... :-D Pagans and Hammers still worshipping their deities, their strife still ongoing... but under art-deco skyscrapers, skies filled with giant zeppelins and roads filled with 1930s cars... and then... burricks and zombies climb out of the sewers... and an evil mad scientist named Karl Ass von Schreklichberg (Karras + Nazi scientist stereotype) starts threatening the world. :-D

I first played this game when i was like 12 and the cathedral level scared the living daylight out of me. I remember even turning off the PC during that mission because I was too scared to continue playing :))))))It's probably my favorite game ever! Why did Looking Glass have to die???? They gave us such great games like Ultima Underworld (1&2), System Shock (1&2) Thief (1&2) ... WHYYYY???????

If Edios does make a fourth game i wonder if you would still be able to play Garrett as the protagonist? I read some old articles from back when ion storm was still kicking, they said they were going to take out the gothic style and make it more modern, and one of the artists drew Garrett in modern clothes in preperation for thief 4, in the famous words of the angry videogame nerd "what were they thinking!"
