the piece can be tuned one of the two ways shown below. If the 6th string is tuned to D, the piece is in D minor, if it is tuned to C#, the piece is in C# minor. Domeniconi wrote the piece in C# minor. The piece does not sound in C major but it is READ as though it is in C major in the sheet music because there are no sharps/flats. This tuning method is called "scordatura"

Actually my book says it should be:1st String E => E2nd String B => C#3rd String G => G#4th String D => C#5th String A => G#6th String E => C#

Wooooow! I am speechless! The Gods & Godesses of Olympus have outspoken all their anger, passion & agony. Can someone please tell me if this is the regular tuning of the guitar (1st & last strings being Me) or is it a modifyed one? I have noticed that the sixth is maybe one note down (I might be wrong) |
