I don't know what people are criticizing about here. At the time of this performance, Peter Cetera was past 60 (!), and Amy mid-40's. So their voices are not the same as they were 25 years ago. Big deal, they did fine.

this is nothing compared to is live performance in 1986, very different. but like others said, it might be becuase of age... i mean look at mariah, atleast peter can still sing and doesnt have to whisper and talk and call it a hit in every song nowadays... im sure everyone misses the old mc. peter cetera has a great unique voice, something that is so rare nowadays.

I agree. almost like he's too full of himself in a way..like he doesn't have to. But i love him......and Chicago.

I think Peter CAN reach and hold the high notes he used to... it's just that he doesn't WANT to reach them, he doesn't want to endanger his - beautiful, IMHO - voice.My two cents :/Oh, and...AWESOME VIDEO, THANKS FOR SHARING THIS!!!!

hi Aansar -I think Peter Cetera can hold notes just like he used to..this is live you see. His voice just sounds a little different. Excellent stuff!

Nice to hear this -- Pete's voice is still great -- sure he can't hold and sustain the notes like he used to, but he still rocks the song. Amy Grant sounds great as always. Now if only Pete would quit doing the Celine Dion hand movements ... He was also a great bass player -- maybe holding a bass would stop the jimmy hands.

pete was flirty in the 96 and his voice wasn't so breathless and short. must be getting old.

pete sounds a bit breathless since the earlier one, must be Amy 's fault, she looks great.
