Marilyn Mason commented once that us who wereborn in the 70s were (statistically) less prone to gay symbols: even with this kind of videos, Queen was not considered a gay symbol among kids who listened to their records. I am not saying it was not obvious later, but at first, we all believed in this as rock and roll and then the whole picture evolved as we grew up. To me, it is interesting.
