FantasmaBAnco-Didn't you ask me to leave you alone? You know I apologized for calling her a liar.OK, I made a bad call. I never intentonally lie about anyone or anything.I didn't even know ZoeMarks was a she.So what if she's a student? Employee of what? The National Archives Building? I am a member of the American National Archives Society, and "I" still need permission to use it. Computers have changed much of that. I lived in Wash. D.C. for 6 years too. Just leave me alone.

This is not astrology. Astrology is when you get a person's birth time draw up a chart and then analysis is made. This did not happen here, everyone got the same reading, so what James Randi is doing here CANNOT BE CALLED ASTROLOGY.This only proves that people are tending to agree, but there is NO astrology being done here.

Did you consider that Zoe might have special access, because she's a student or an employee? And you have the hide of a rhino to call her a liar, when every one of us in this comment log has seen you lie repeatedly! Have you no shame? Have you no integrity?

EVERYONE with an agenda to push quote-mines Einstein, because he was one of the brightest people who ever lived and everyone wants him on their team. It's called the "appeal to authority" and is a logical fallacy.
FantasmaBAnco (September 4, 2008 at 3:43 pm)
He believed in Spinoza's concept of God; more a pantheist than the personal God worshipped in just about every religion on the planet.
ZoeMarks (September 4, 2008 at 2:38 pm)
Ooooops.I meant to say:There are several other such quotes in the book. They cannot be confused with other belief systems.

You could do us all a big favor by not being such a pig headed bastard. You quote something which other people know is incorrect and you are too lazy to go and check you facts. You have the world at your fingertips, use themQuoting stuff from astrology sites and books at random, that you have not even bothered to independently check is not being honest with yourself or those who chose to read them.
ZoeMarks (September 4, 2008 at 1:53 pm)
Here is a quote from the book, you can see it is all about his view on religion:"The basis of all scientific work is the conviction that the world is an ordered and comprehensive entity, which is a religious sentiment. My religious feeling is a humble amazement at the order revealed in the small patch of reality to which our feeble intelligence is equal." EinsteinThere are several other such quotes in the book. They can be confused with other belief systems.
