Ive been into my Drum and Bass since its birth, DJ and produce it. Hearing this has been a great eye opener! Thanks, great vid!P.s, Square Pusher "IS" Drum and Bass, but more JUNGLE. ;-)

I dont think you can pigeon hole or segregate his music. Squarepusher is Squarepusher period.

Square Pusher is not Drum and Bass or Jungle! It's closer to Jazz fusion than anything else... Tom Jenkinson is a highly skilled Jazz player! He is both a great drummer and great bass player. He can sit in with any Jazz group and hold it down. So who is the one who is "high brow posturing"? So what if he's used that break? That break could be inserted into any genre of music as you say - so why are you hating on Jenkinson?

I try and shy away from most breakbeats since they seem to be so overused. MyProDrums has a really good sample library I use to create my own breaks.
