As for the Cure,you must be basing this on their "radio" songs, which are very poor representations of their real work. They aren't for everyone, I guess. You either feel them or you don't...but not overrated or overpraised! I love them.

forget the cure!! they are overated!! always where!!! they had some good but I dont know why they are overpraised!.Now depeche mode.. thats a real band .. real genius work and creativity and vocal and music and everything you could want and more!.Give credit to the real artist!!

Yeah, it took me awhile to welcome ultra into my heart. At one point in time I couldn't even listen to it all the way through..Despite that of which, they're a fucking brilliant band. Shall love em till the day I die..

If you were an addict like Iam then you would understand, the meaning of the song. The lead singer of Depeche Mode struggled with addiction for years. Addicts tend to be VERY CREATIVE!!!! I think their sound, Faith No More, Tool, and the Cure could release any one of their tracks now and the youngins would eat it up. Have a lovely Day.

Why are they the baddest band that ever existed? I was listening to "Some Great Reward", at 7 yrs. old. Mom liked 'em. I love them and don't think they can release "shit". Ultra was not a good album, but some decent tracks. I love this band! '85-NOW!

Anton Corbjin directed this, I assume? I really love this video. It's very experimental, like a spooky indie short. I aspire to creat films similar to Anton's.Clean is one of Depeche Mode's best, for sure. The strong, rhythmatic synth drum beat really astounds me, just so haunting. An element within the melody somehow compliments the straight-forwardness of the lyrics, I don't know why. He's fucking clean, and that's all there is to it. The cleanest he's been :)This is just pure genius.
