Yeah the press call was yelled way to early, that was eddie coan's fault as the head judge, not scot's. James Henderson's 711 RAW lift in the IPF had a very long pause and far stricter rules (feet flat on the floor, head against the bench, bar held at lockout before the start command is given etc.) too bad there's no video of that, but it was very legitimately paused and he missed 722 on his final attempt only because the bar hit the uprights before he locked it out.

I really like Scot and I think he is the strongest raw bencher ever.I just would have like to have seen him pause this lift a second longer. This would silence all doubts.Watch Bill Kazmaier, he has a no questios asked pause on his 661

Know exactly what you mean. I saw Gant lift too. By no means am I one of the guys saying the lift isn't awesome because a guy has short arms, didn't lock out, or some other criticism. I busted my ass to get 1/2 as strong as those guys and I respect the hell out of them.
