hey jack man fred and gordon were good friends and contemporaries - both are genius. You say Fred copy Gordon? I think they do different amazing things. Nonsense to say one copy other man.

Fred Morrison is continuing the contempoary piping that Gordon Duncan started. Using the ideas that Gordon Duncan brought to the piping world Fred Morrison wrote his own tuens. If you check the dictionary that would come under unspiration. (Fred Morrison is a good piper in his own rights but his playing like that has many links to Gordon Duncan)

Which tunes in Freds substantial repertoire were in your professional and experienced opinion,08njack, inspired By Gordons music? What is your definition of "inspired"and do you have some extrasensory insight into Fred Morrisons creation of compositions which span quite a timeframe?

I'm not saying that Fred Morrison isn't a good piper only saying that Gordon Duncan was Better.

Comments by 08njack are a trite transparent- shades of green colour every word :pity that comments like this actually sully the memory of Gordon Duncan and simply display a crass immaturityPost your video-MJakanory and I will watch and listen and ponder

A Border pipe is a small pipe with cane reeds and a stronger chanter reed. The ones he has are reel pipes by MacCallum. Reel and Border pipes are the same thing. (no joke have 2 sets)

breakdnickchezmanftd - He isn't the king of piping half of his tunes were inspired from Gordon Duncan who was better than him in all fields. Traditional Piping and Pipe Band.

He is abusing those pipes. I'm calling the Society for the Humane Treatment for Pipes.
