maybelline's is very sheer, this has more pigment so with the same amount of product, you get a lot more color with this powder. it can get too matte if you apply too much but you just have to blend. and i reapplied once that day so it's pretty good...considering my nose gets pretty oily. oh and this is a blotting powder.

u are funny! btw, since u said it has a better coverage than maybelline's, does that mean that it kinda looks powdery? I mean, does it look natural or is it too matte? and how long does it stay/ or how many times do u have to retouch in a day? thanks.
