John Ford, One of the Screen's Greatest Directors, is at his peak in this great 20th Century Fox masterpiece and two actors in particular Henry Fonda and Jane Darwell give such great performances they should be studied by all those who love film and great acting.

Grapes of Wrath was a good story, but it glorified the New Deal program and demonized capitalism. Very one sided and propagandist.Remember, there was NEVER a decade long depression before the Federal Reserve was enacted.
