Indeed, Ian had been in hospital that day. He discharged himself to do the show and went straight back after the recording was over. His appendix was removed that same night.What a pro! His wicked humour and acerbic wit was finely tuned here. The pain obviously sharpened his line of attack...he was on great form.I love him. Ian is ace.
