Not everyone can wear contacts ok. My little sister wear glasses, because she can't wear contacts. Some people can't, because of medical problems. So really you don't know why he's not wearing contacts maybe he can't, maybe he don't want to, or maybe he would later on. But really you don't need to be picking on him for wearing glasses, because there is nothing wrong with wearing glasses.
