Some of you fail to understand the significance of PE to the hip hop culture. They reinforced selfrespect and opened young minds to the truth behind the issues that influence our lives. Chuck is talking about going to jail because he doesn't want to get drafted into a war. Ask those Vietnam vets who sit outside markets asking for money, how they feel about their gov't? Most will say abandoned. This is reality rap, gangster rap took the reality out of hip hop. No one in NWA was a gangster.

Run-DMC brought HARD to the mainstream. Now, the country-boys have turned it into a situation-comedy!....Oh, can't forget about THE FURIOUS FIVE: Hard-HIP-HOP!

Yeah, my Uncle told me Gangsta Rap was made in Philly and then the West Coast helped it blow up.
