I'm an OKIE, and this is one of the first songs I remember. All of Georges' songs were played on "T's" bar in McLoiud Oklahoma. I remember the line, "The Okie from Muskogee". It's the reason I love George Jones

I respect your views on that, but I don't think George Jones would have named Travis Tritt or Tobey Keith. I believe he would be happy with Alan Jackson, George Strait and now Brad Pasiley.
