i completely agree she is extremely underrated! however alanis doesnt strike me as the type of woman who would let any society change her look. i remember when she was canada's lil pop princess... now she writes her own music, with so much expression and a fire you dont see that often. if the US truly changed alanis, who by the way comes across as too strong a woman to allow that, why is she laughin at fergie's "my humps?" the US thrives off of stereotypes, and alanis isnt one of them.
