Jewfish ARE goliath grouper. The nickname arose from an anti-semetic stereotype, the thought that Jewish people take over wherever they go. Hence, "Jewfish". (It takes over wherever it goes.) Now seen as politically incorrect, and rightfully so, the proper name is "Goliath Grouper".
