I think the razor blade thing was more of a metaphor for the harm some people are willing to do themselves to fit in with their unrealistic views of perfection. In an anorexic's case, even to the point of death.

The imagery is more symbolic of someone suffering from a deeply depressed state.. That they go to some extreme measure and end their life. I don't see it as a video about anorexia.. More someone who was once very happy and now hides behind her sheets and closed blinds. I noticed a bottle of some type of medication on the vanity.. She's clearly sick in some way. Her actions speak deep depression. Anorexics can waste away to death.. they usually don't commit suicide with razer blades.
