Thats super. The only time i remember using an amp in a performance was when i played bass for the guitar club at school and we played variations of 'What Child is This' at the winter concert my Freshman year. And, considering we had done a total 'Rock' version (with about 6 six strings and a 12 plus me on bass in the same mixing board), our system got crunchy. The sound was sweet though, i would die to play like that again.

Yeah, since this performance I sold the acoustasonic and replaced it with an AER Alpha. I can take it as loud as I want, it never has that crunch :)

If you do it on a different kind of amp, there is a posibility of getting rid of the crunch. Even though im a bass player and usually dislike the sound of the violin, you really make the sound flow. Its nothing im used to so good job. |
