This has to be the best YouTube video of Clapton performing this song. After 40 years of playing it, it's always a joy to hear - especially live! Clapton IS god and thank goodness we've been able to appreciate his greatness through the years. I saw him perform many times from his 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Haven't yet seen him in his 60s, hope to soon. And, yes, this was written for Pattie Harrison, George's wife at the time, who Eric was in love with and later married.
