Because this is Dua Qunuut it is done during the prayer, and hence they do it standing up.

This is a qunut dua being performed during prayer (immediatley after ruku)thats why it is done standing.

yeah his name is sheikh majid actually he is the imam of the masjid near my home..we play soccer every wednseday together..mashalla i think he would be very happy to see this! jazzak alla khair..he is the imam of a masjid called elsahaba" in UAE sharjah

Masallah the sheikh has beautiful voice and an excellent tone.I think most of our sheiks are blessed with wonderful voice!
