oh comeon...you didn't really believe he was that rude to such intelligent people. They would never accept the interview if he wasn't polite to them out of character. He's a riot, and an quite clever.i love the show. Did you see him interview Carl Pope of the Sierra club? soooo funny.

Conservatives are funny, and right. Dennis Miller? He's hilarious, and just as smart as Colbert. O'Reilly is arrogant, he can be an asshole, but he has his facts down, and he's tired of seeing liberals ruin this country.

why doesn't Colbert just suck his dick? He's funny, I just saw NAS on his show, singing a song about FOX news being racist, and now this? I can't watch The Colbert Report anymore, hes just another liberal. Sad, it really is.

I don't know why that bothered you so deeply. I didn't mean to insult you or your "independent people" (which, if we're going to discuss political persuasian, I too affiliate with the Independent party) I simply made a statement, but it seems that I might have hit a nerve? I meant conservative by O'Reilly's standards, (like you said) but I figured you would all know that's what I meant. I apologize for not being clearer, but it was no cause to jump down my throat and start throwing the insults.

You're an idiot. Colbert isn't making fun of Conservatives - he's not ignorant enough to stereotype millions of people. He's satirizing Bill O'Reilly. And he's not making fun of O'Reilly because he holds a conservative viewpoint, he's making fun of O'Reilly because O'Reilly is bombastic and arrogant. And before you accuse me of being a neocon or whatever just know that I'm an independent, but unlike you I'm not a simpleton who cannot understand the subtle nuance of satire.
