There's a character in a Python sketch named Harold Potter, too, though I've forgotten which sketch. Perhaps JK Rowling got the name for her teen wizard from Python too, in the same unwitting way George Harrison picked up the melody of "He's So Fine" by the Chiffons for "My Sweet Lord."
