I'm starting to think with this cartoon, and "Long Haired Hare" with Bugs Bunny's Impersonation of Leopold Stowkoski, that the production team of Warner Bros. Were perhaps fans of Fantasia, and maybe wanted to poke fun at it...

Well, you'll be happy to know that this is out on the Golden Collection DVD with the original titles--no public domain crap whatsoever.

This Warner Bros. 7-minute skewering of Fantasia is a great deal of fun, from Elmer Fudd's embarrassing attempts to mimic Leopold Stowkowski, to seeing a standard Bugs Bunny chase toon done to the Strauss waltz "Tales of the Vienna Woods." A necessary addition to any cartoon collection.

It seems that Elmer has some trouble with his clothes. For one, he can't his starched up shirt tucked in. Then, he accidentally rips it off twice. Then his pants fall down and he has to pick them up. Those parts were without a doubt, some of the funniest parts (the funniest is when we see that Bugs is wearing ladies clothes at one point)
