Theres more than 2 weapons, rocket launcher and rail gun happen to be the most popular. There are a total of 9 weapons including a gauntlet which is a melee weapon. This game kicks ass I just wish that I had the full version.

You can't compare Quake and UT, they are different. You have a feeling with Q3 that you don't have with the UT's, even the newest one. Ok, the UT series have more weapons, so what? Quake is much faster and brutal(more arcade in a way) and the general mood is better than any UT games. If you think that a game is better than another one just cause there are more weapons, do you a favor,stop playing man.

No....he use 2 weapons witch u need to learn how to use(rl and railgun), and get frags with it.I've played q3a for 2 yrs on net, until I get UT99 ;]
