i'm very sorry but while i like Lush as well they, and a few other bands, only appeared AFTER MBV got the scene kick-started. saw Lush supporting Hole a long time ago and the first 3 or 4 songs were almost directly lifted from MBV tracks. pity coz they were very good in their own right anyway.for me MBV will always be out on their own for originality and power. a scene was built after them in the same way that the record industry went crazy for grunge (on a smaller scale admittedly).
