Don't mean to be a dick, but Kyuss aren't grunge at all, because grunge is more of a period of music from Seattle between X and Y date, less of a genre of music.Still, Kyuss kick ass. Lots of it.

I think too much attention is payed to genre. It really doesnt matter what people call it. its awsome weather its "stoner" or "grunge" or "polka" whatever. it rocks

Wow, I didn't know that there was only one guitatist in Kyuss (lame of me, I know). But I guess that just makes Josh Homme even more of a legend.
