Lol, good to see this game is still getting comment. Definitely one of my favourites for theme and storyline. But ya can really compare it to trigger because of the different elements (time travel vs. parallel worlds) But ya gotta admit, the story was pretty kickass, especially the element of potential worlds destroyed by the choices we didnt make...it was quite deep

(GEER I was running out of characters) Anyway, injoy the game for what it is, stop campairing it to Chrono Trigger and being disapointed, keep playing, get to disk two, injoy IT'S story and just injoy its tie ins with Chrono Trigger, It really Is a great game.

I agree, it was a little slow at first, and hard to get into. However lets be honest, so was Chrono Trigger at first ;) What happend is we had this great game Chrono Trigger and it was perfect in every way. and so when they came out with Chrono Cross we wer expecting it to be awesome kick ass game right from the start. forgeting that even Chrono Trigger needed a little time to get the story warmed up. keep playing, make it to disk two, injoy the game for what it is.

You really need to play the second disk to see how great the storyline is honestly as soon as they start to tie in the story of Chrono Trigger it becomes amazing. I felt the same way you did and I can literally say that all of the best parts of the story happen on disk two.

I never really cared for chrono trigger. The game just didn't appeal to me. However Chrono Cross is one of my favorite games ever made. I don't see why people say things like "Chrono Cross didn't live up to Chrono Trigger." Chrono Cross pwns.

The music in Chrono Cross has such an organic, earthy sound to it. Its awesome.

Good game....nowhere near Chrono Trigger though.I didnt like the Pokemon inspired character collection.
