I like The Raven and all, but I feel it is the "Romeo and Juliet" of Poe. I feel it is perhaps a little overrated as compared to his other work. My favorite has always been Masque of the Red Death.You did a good job on it though.

I like the way you all tell the story. I just saw three videos of famous individuals doing it, among them Christopher Walken, but thy didn't get it right. Great job you all!

EXCELLENT video. Highly creative. This poem always touches me deeply and you all did an excellent job. Frankly, it makes me so happy that so many people love this poem. You deserve accolades for this great effort.

Anna, an enjoyable, creative, international gift. Kudos to all and the creative mind who brought it together! This could have been more effective if the performers had followed the poem to the letter and if they'd pronounced all words correctly. Poe italicized words in stanzas 10 and 12, too. The poem should grab the hearer's emotions! It creates and sustains growing melancholy, terror, and fleeting hope. The words and rhythm were chosen to do that. Again thanks for this labor of love! |
