totally. He's pretty diverse.

The variety of music Paul plays, and plays well, is what makes his music so enjoyable. It's not the same beaten horse each album. He certainly has his own style. But there are times where you say to yourself " I can't believe this is the same guitarist."I mean how many songs has he laid guitar tracks to??? How many times has he tweaked those different songs?? Listen to "To Be With You". I have at least three different versions.

Personally, I like a ton of his tunes. It just depends on what you are looking for. He has a pretty wide variety of styles and genres.

Well said. The reason why he continues to practice and get better is because he's a skilled enough musician to know that he's never done learning. There's not a single guitar player on the planet who's mastered the instrument. It's so vast. It's one of the reasons that it's one of the hardest instruments to play. If you want to do more than just strum on a few chords, that is. Even then, it's not easy. lol

Not sure how many times I've seen this video, but I enjoy it everytime. What I find most intriguing about Paul Gilbert is that despite his incredible talent he continues to pratice and learn to become even better. If that is possible.
