I didn't know Ska was black....... hell, in all reality music doesn't really have a color does it? I mean, any person can make any music and any person could like it I think. Music is the language of the heart I once heard.

I saw him in St. Louis in the 60's - front row. I remember he was soooo tall! Filled the entire stage. People went nuts and near the end were about ready to mob the stage. He cooled things down by sitting down on the edge of the stage and singing one final slow song, then waved to us and exited. I still get chills thinking about it.
