What form of capitalism? ... That's what she questions

This was posted in November, last year. I guess you'd say America has received its economic "Shock" this month, right? Was this our October Surprise? Now go to YouTube and watch "Interview-Naomi Wolf-Give Me Liberty" and Rep Sherman's address to the House.

It's not moral... it might work better in certain ways, but it's not moral.

Socialism is better than the elite capitalism, capitalism is not for every citizens. Only for the rich and powerful can use it.

Capitalism doesn't work. It look goods on paper but never works the way people say it should.

A moderate capitalism is the way to go.

Love that self aggrandizing term you use for your intellectually bankrupt philosophy;{{_"Progressive"_}}. People need to be free to live their own lives and pursue their own dreams, without having to cow-tow to the autocratic, collectivist notions of some self-congratulatory elite. The fascistic Bush administration is no legitimate example of free-market ideology, except for purposes of contrived & propagandistic, Dialectical mischaracterization.Ron Paul would set you straight on that.

Lose you did. No matter how you talk around it, your people must enforce top-down control; i.e. tyranny. There must be a de-facto, beauraucratic ruling class to impose your "benificent order", with all of the attendant and inevitable opportunity for corruption & oppression. Anti-trust is a legitimate & necessary function of government and if performed properly, real free-market capitalisim will prevail and produce a far superior outcome for far more people than any centrally planned society. |
