I'm juss joining the conversation! :D Okay now... im not being nationalistic or bigging up nobody but this is the long and short of it. americans came to jamaica, heard reggae, went bck to america, and made theyre own less stylized, sloppy version what we call hip-hop today. (btw dancehall lyrics are in fact alot more raw and violent compared to hip-hop)

im Asian.these girls are lost..im from NY..i love reggae music but i dont FRONT like im no jamaican. these girls are bugn..i can understand u love the culture of reggae and all that, but cmon you are from Japan NOT jamaica..why japanese always gotta take other shit and copy it and take it out of context..like how they have stores that read "Black Hair" and "Black clothes" and it just stereotypical clothing that certain types of black people rock in America..I aint racist just keepin it 100.ONE

What part of JM are you from. No no gurl, the people that created that were American born individuals of Jamaican decent. As you see today, about 5 out of 10 Americans of Jamaican decent turn Die Hard American. So, it's more of an American thing. It didn't orrigionate in Jamaica. Amnerica is the birth place of rap. I listen to music that has cursewords in them. Wht part of JA you from???? |
