Well if your country is small and insignificant, that's your problem. My Hungary is neither of those, and I'm sure it doesn't need a Colbert bridge (still, I admit he's pretty good).

I'm Hungarian and would have preferred Chuck Norris :) That was a comittee deciding in the end, not "the Hungarians"...

haha, glennrr, I love your heading. and it's true, we know who that bridge really belongs to.

wow, I hate to answer a 3 month old post, but klodvig was right, glennrr. the constitution allows a president to stay in office for up to 10 years. if bush would resign now, dick cheney would replace him. dick could run again in 2008 and AGAIN in 2012(!). re-elected both times, he would spend more time in office than any president (except for FDR, who was elected for 4 consecutive terms). ask your teacher! course no one would vote for cheney... so there. i am also Hungarian.

I'm hungarian and I'm sad that the bridge didn't get named after him. I voted for him and he deserves a Colbert bridge in Hungary because he made my small, insignificant country known. I think he is a genious. Whenever I have the opportunity I try to watch his show.

That bridge is beautiful. In a manly way. They should build a statue of colberts son (bald eagle variety) as a symbol. |
